This 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible retains its original paint and is fitted with the rare Q code 428 CID 345 H.P. V8 engine. The seller claims only 300 were made with this combination, which is believable. A Marti Report, if not already obtained, should confirm this.
The body looks clean as one would expect but some of the trim has been unfortunately stolen while the car was in storage. This is manageable as the missing bits will be available on eBay sooner or later. The front bumper also looks pushed up, perhaps old school sling tow truck damage?
The engine looks the part, consistent with the claimed 83,000 miles. Fortunately it does not look like any obvious modifications have been performed over its lifetime.
The white interior, not something easy to keep clean, also seems to fit the car’s description. A new convertible top is included in the auction so it is safe to assume that the original is ratty. Find the car here on eBay in Oregon, though it is claimed to be a California car. Bidding is active but well below the $16,000 Buy it Now price.
